Leonora T. Herrin

Leonora T. Herrin, age 89, of Kingman, AZ, died Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Northern Arizona Veterans Administration Health Center System in Prescott, AZ. Leonora was born on October 31, 1921, in Nashville, Tennessee, and came to Arizona twelve years ago from Oregon. In 1980 she married Burt Herrin, who preceded her in death. Leonora is survived by a son, Bruce D. Hudson of Henderson, Nevada. She enjoyed nature, wildlife, and animals. She was an animal trainer and worked for a wildlife safari. She was especially fond of the lion, one of which she raised and trained for most of its life. Leonora was a veteran of the US Army, and proudly served her country. There will be no services, but memorial contributions may be made to the Yavapai Humane Society in Prescott. The family was assisted by the Ruffner-Wakelin Family Funeral Homes.
