Leo Patrick O'Neil

Leo Patrick O'Neil died on Friday, September 12, 2008 at the VA Medical Center in Prescott, Arizona.  Born on March 17, 1927, in Elwood, Indiana, he was the son of Leo Patrick and Agnes (Boskey) O'Neil.  Leo was 81 years old. Leo was a member of the VFW Bucky O'Neil Post 541 and the American Legion Post 6 in Prescott, and the Moose Lodge 319 and the Elks Lodge 330 in Prescott Valley.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and surfing the internet.  He was a devoted husband and father.  He was most proud of his service to his country in the United States Navy, and being the patriarch of the O'Neil clan.  He will be greatly missed. Leo is survived by his loving wife, Connie; daughters Peggy (Ted) Baier of Lindale Texas, Patti (Bob) Jaeger of Mountain Grove Missouri, Pam (Bill) Patrick of Toquerville Utah; son Mike (Janice) O'Neil of Gainsville Texas; step-daughter Sherry (Jody) Smith of Tejarris New Mexico; step-son William Thomas of Simi Valley California; grandchildren Leo, Lisa, Lori, Michelle, Dayna, Bobby, Eddie, Stephanie, Ricky, Frederick, Jonathan, and Nicole; great grandchildren Amber, Steven, Patrick, Shawn, Ashlee, Katie, Donavan, Sarah, Kyle, Maggie, Brigette, Morgan, Brooklynn, Gavin, and Cano; four great great grandchildren; brother Bernard O'Neil of Valparaiso, Indiana.  He is preceded in death by his sister Betty Stanton.
