Leo C. Bennett of Humboldt, Ariz. died Thursday, June 2, 2011. He was born on Dec. 9, 1929 in Earl Park, Indiana.
Leo is survived by one son, Douglas (Patricia) of Phoenix and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Velma, sons; David, Donald, and Darrell, and daughters;
Donna and Denise.
Leo retired to Ariz. from the Air Force in 1970. He spent the last 41 years working as a nurseryman in Phoenix, moving to Humboldt in 1980 where he operated the Humboldt Mkt until 2003.
Leo was a well known figure in Humboldt and will be missed by his family and many friends.
