Larry died at the Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott on Friday, November 1, 2013. He was 63 years old. Larry is survived by his father, Bill D. Cosper, and two brothers Doug Cosper and Lynn Cosper. He was a loving uncle to two nephews Sean Cosper and Kevin Cosper. He is also survived by many cousins and very dear, long time friends that he considered family. Larry valued his family and friends and was affectionately referred to as “good old cousin Larry.” Larry graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1968 and proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1972. Though he lived in many different places in his lifetime, he spent the majority of his lifetime in Northern Arizona. He worked hard and retired at a young age, traveled and enjoyed life immensely. He was proud of his Scottish Campbells of Cowder heritage, and had a love for hunting, fishing, boating, golfing, motorcycle riding and other outdoor adventures. Larry had a strong passion for the guitar and played at any and every opportunity. One of his most favorite past times was jamming with family and friends and he never hesitated to break out in song. His voice and his music will be greatly missed. Mourn his death briefly, but in his honor, celebrate his life.
