Larry Dean Faul

Larry Dean Faul was born August 26, 1934 to Edwin and Lillie Faul in a farm house nine miles south of Harvey, ND. After a short battle with cancer, he passed away peacefully on November 6, 2014 with his wife by his side and is now in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Larry attended a one-room school house for eight years. He then worked with his dad on the farm for five years until he joined the Army. He served two years at the Elmendorf Army Base in Anchorage, Alaska. Upon his discharge he obtained his GED and attended Hansen’s Automotive School in Fargo, ND. He once was married to Marlene Oslie. He worked for Bridgeman Dairy in Devils Lake, ND. Not liking the winters in North Dakota, he moved to Lodi, California and worked in a cannery for a short time while waiting for employment at General Mills, where he was employed for 28 years. In 1972, he met Linda Thingvold, the love of his life. They were married on September 22, 1972. They made their home in Stockton, CA until 1990 when they moved to Wilhoit, AZ where they had purchased land in 1983 to be closer to his sister, Lanette and her husband Russell. Larry worked for the Walden Meadows Community Co-Op and for the Prescott School District before retiring. He enjoyed driving his tractor and maintaining his yard and road. Larry is survived by his loving wife Linda; brother Clinton (Laverne) of Woodbridge, CA; sister Lanette Patzer of Mesa, AZ; numerous nieces and nephews; and very close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Lillie Faul, father and mother-in-law William and Mona Thingvold, and brother-in-law Russell Patzer.
