Kimberly Ellen Cvetkovich, 59, passed away peacefully at home in Flagstaff,Arizona, on Sunday, October 10 th, 2021.Kim was born Wednesday, April 11 th, 1962, at Prescott Community Hospital toFrank and Martha Jean Cvetkovich.

She felt privileged to grow up in Prescott andenjoyed her childhood and educational experiences. She attended Sacred Heart Schoolfor eight years as a precocious child who kept the nuns on their toes! Kimalso loved her years at Prescott High School and was proud to be a Prescott Badger! Shewas active in girls’ sports and lettered in basketball and softball. She was also involvedwith the FBLA and Student Council and was the senior class president.  

After graduation in 1980, she attended NAU in Flagstaff, pursuing degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology.   She spent her exceptional career working with Adult Probation in Coconino County, and soon progressed to Intense Adult Supervision where she remained until the end of her career in 2013.After retirement, Kim was involved and active in community groups in theFlagstaff area. Among her favorites were the Elks Club, NAU Alumni Association and shewas a Precinct Committeewoman at election time. She also looked forward to herbridge games with a group of ladies she affectionately called “The Bridge Bitches”!

Kim was an avid golfer and golfed every chance she got, and met her husband, John in the Valley where he was a golf pro. They married in February 2010, and were together until her death.Kim loved people, socializing and had a great love for golf, football, especially the Cardinals, gardening, cooking, riding horses and above all, loved rabbits!  Kim will be missed for her exuberant personality, quit wit and sincere compassion for her fellow human beings.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Martha Jean. She is survivedby her husband, John Dodd, of Flagstaff and Phoenix, and her sister Lynn Cvetkovich ofPrescott.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the NAU Scholarship Fundfor students pursuing degrees in Criminal Justice or to the Prescott High School Girls’Sports Programs.

There will be a “Celebration of Life” for Kim on November 6th beginning at noon at the Elks Lodge , 2101 N San Francisco Street, Flagstaff Arizona . Please check Facebook for further comments/condolences.
