Kathryn P. McDole died in the early morning on October 14, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Center in Prescott Valley, AZ. She was born in Red Oak, Iowa, the eldest daughter of Forrest and Opal Partlow, on Nov. 7, 1921. After graduating high school Kay moved to Southern California where she met and married the love of her life, Clifton ?Mac? McDole, on Feb. 3, 1946. They re-married in St. George Mormon Temple in Oct. of 1985. This was a marriage that would last 42 years, until Mac?s death in 1988, but a love that would last forever. Kay had four children, Michael McDole, Kristy Paul, Kathy Ashton, and Ronald McDole; two step-daughters, Sharon James, and Shirley Charlton; one foster daughter, Margret Jordan; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, all of whom meant the world to her. Kay was a woman who always chose to see the best in everyone, without judgement. She traveled and enjoyed her life and family until the very end. Her wonderful presence on this earth will be greatly missed. She was our mom, our grandma, and our great grandma. We will love her forever.
