Kathleen Jackson ?An Irish Rose?died January 26 2008 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born Chicago, Illinois, October 11, 1925; the daughter of Thomas and Dorothy (Albrecht) McCaffrey.   Kathleen was raised in Prescott, where she graduated from St. Joseph?s Academy She attended Mount Saint Mary College in LA and graduated as a cadet Nurse from Mercy College, San Diego, where she met her soul mate, Paul Richard Jackson. They were married October 25, 1947, in Prescott.   Kathleen and Paul raised their family of seven in Southfield, Michigan. They hosted many foreign students and involved their many friends and parish families in their endeavors. They retired back to Prescott, in 1984. Kathleen blessed many by her fellowship, generosity, and service to others. She served as a Eucharistic Minister, President of Clarets Club, and a very supportive deacon?s wife, both here at Sacred Heart and St. Michael?s in Michigan. Paul preceded her in death May 25, 1989.   Kathleen never met a stranger. She was warm and welcoming to all. She volunteered regularly with the St. Vincent De Paul Society; was a mediator for the Yavapai Court system,  community FISH aid programs of Detroit by transporting the less fortunate for medical needs and groceries.   Kathleen is survived by her children: Joe (Mary) of Lavallette, N.J., Ann (Richard) Harrod of Harlingen, TX, Brother Augustine (Jim) of Piffard, N.J., Mary (Larry) LeFebrve of Kansas City, MO, Paul (Shari) of Canton, MI, Marge Jackson of Prescott, AZ, and Tom (Linda) of Phoenix, AZ, all who loved and will miss her very much,  18 grandchildren and 6 ½ great-grandchildren, the joy of her life, will remember her gentle spirit; her sister, Jane (Tom) Robbins of Prescott and brother; Bob (Ann) Phillips of Flagstaff AZ,; who will smile at the memories they will share.
