Katherine Brown

Katherine Joann Brown died on May 14th, 2024 from Lewy Bodies Dementia at the age of 75 years old. Kathy was born to Forrest and Shirley Bacus in Prescott on March 10th, 1949. Kathy is survived by her husband and best friend Bill. They were married for 41 years; daughter Karen (Matt) Vallely and grandkids Jason and Alyssa.

Kathy was a lifelong "Prescottonian". She loved her family, friends, town, neighborhood, and home.

Kathy was a domestic goddess and "Professional volunteer". She volunteered at almost any function at Karen's schools, the hospital, as well as many years at The United Methodist Church helping with the office and running the nursery.

Kathy loved hosting parties, spending time with friends and neighbors, baking, gardening, spoiling her grandkids, and traveling, she took many, many trips throughout her lifetime.

Kathy will be greatly missed by many.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be May 31, 2024 at 10am at The Ridge Church (6540 E 2nd St Prescott Valley, AZ 86314).

The family suggests instead of flowers that donations be made to The Ridge Church.
