June Manning Laronda

June Manning Laronda, 86, passed away July 14, 2012 in Prescott, AZ. June was born on May 13, 1926 in Everett, MA, the youngest of five children. She is survived by her daughters Jade Hall (Prescott, AZ) and Tobe Phillips (Abilene, TX), her son Kim Laronda (Pensacola, FL), her four grandchildren Eric, Kevin, Stuart and Casey, and great granddaughter, Maya. June met and married her artistic husband, Arthur 'Rocky' Laronda, as a student at the Rhode Island School of Design. Their creative union lasted 53 years, until his death in 1999. Her special appreciation and love of nature is reflected in watercolor landscape paintings. In addition to the performing and visual arts, June was an avid reader who greatly enjoyed gardening, travel, and home design. When asked what meant most to her, she would easily say, 'her family and dear friends.' Private services will be held with family members.
