June E. Laferriere

June Elizabeth LaFerriere was born on June 26, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY to Elizabeth and Raymond Pease and was raised in Bridgeport, CT. June passed away peacefully in Prescott Valley, AZ where she resided since 2005, surrounded by family on September 5, 2013. June was a loving mother, a gregarious person who loved and was loved by many, a volunteer in the community, and a resident of the Margaret T. Morris Center. She was a devout Catholic and active church member with a beautiful voice which she loved to share. After retiring as a career draftswoman in the automotive industry in Detroit, MI, June and her husband enjoyed many adventures traveling throughout North America in their recreational vehicle. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years John; their son Kim Brian; and sisters Ruth Compagna, Nancy Renner, and Jacqueline Crayton. She is survived by her sister Ramona Jacobs of Zypher Hills, FL; sons Keith Alan of Springfield, MO and Kris Daryl of Griffin, GA; daughters Karen Hinton of Prescott Valley, AZ and Kaye Curry of Plattsburgh, NY; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
