Judy Lynn Dunbar

Judy “Punkin” Dunbar was born September 29, 1943 in the backseat of the family car. On October 5, 2013 Judy passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was raised in San Diego, CA by her father and mother Harold & LaPreal Farlinger. She is survived by two sisters, Eloise and Kit. Judy has three children that also survive her: Crystal Buck, Taraz Pariseau, and Edward Eads and six grandchildren: Bill Bryant, Johnny Lester, Garrett, Morgan and Gavin Musser, and Lucas Pariseau and best friend Bobbi Hartmann. Judy moved to Arizona in 1970, resided in Prescott and worked at the Pine Cone Inn. She moved to Phoenix three years later. Judy was an avid horse backer and involved in a riding club “The Frontier Shady Ladies” of south Phoenix. In 1989, she moved to Dewey, Arizona and went back to work at the Pine Cone Inn as a server for the next 6 years. In 1995, she started working at the Billy Jack’s Bar & Grill in Dewey where she decided at age 50 to sell her mule, get a tattoo, and buy a Harley. Judy was an active member of MMA and a huge supporter of motorcycle rights and safety. Judy retired in 2002. Her health has been declining for years, so she moved in with her daughter Crystal in August 2010 in Prescott. She was a NASCAR fan til the end. She LOVED Tony Stewart. On her bucket list was to go to a NASCAR race and watch Tony Stewart race in person. Thanks to her determination and her great friend Bobbi Hartmann, she was able to do that. GO TONY! Judy lived her life just as she wanted to! There is so much more we could say about her; she was thoughtful and generous and always helped with charities and benefits for others in need. She loved Dr. DeVito of Prescott and the family wants to thank him for all he did to make Judy more comfortable as her illness progressed. Judy loved her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. We know that Judy is at a NASCAR race in Heaven! Go Punkin!
