Joshua Star Barker

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Joshua Star Barker of Prescott Valley, Arizona on July 4th, 2022 at the age of 45.

He will be lovingly remembered by his 3 daughters, Jazlyn Haley Barker, Kaylee Jade Barker, Rylee Page Barker; Brother, Jacob Kay Barker; Nieces & Nephews, Jacob Kay Barker Jr, Jaylynn Star Barker, Jaidrienn Francis Barker, Jaylene Augustina Barker, Josiah Thomas Barker, JaSandra Sophia Barker; Grandparents, Andrea Marie McCabe, Lester Edward McCabe; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents. Virgil Kay Barker, Father and Jeanette Francis McCabe, Mother. Andrea Leigh, Fiance.

The last 10 months of Joshua’s life, we watched a struggling man become a humbled man striving to right wrongs, help others in their recovery and rebuild relationships. He wanted nothing more than to be a good dad to his daughters, someone they would be proud of and able to spend time with on a regular basis. Joshua fought hard with everything he had but in the end he relapsed and lost the battle to this horrible disease we call addiction.
