Joey was a Senior at Prescott High School where he was on the wrestling team. Prior to transferring to PHS he attended Bagdad High School where he excelled on the football field. Joey enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, cars, and being unpredictable. He was a wild and free spirit who could put a smile on anyone's face. He was easily liked and had a lot of friends. Joey tried a lot of things, and usually was successful with most, he was very daring and wasn't afraid of doing anything. He liked motocross and rode his Kawasaki 125 for the adrenaline rush. From the first time he picked up a football, he wanted to play in the NFL, and from the first time he picked up a shotgun he wanted to go hunting. Joey was the baby of the family and the glue. He will be missed and never forgotten. Joey is survived by his mother Jennifer Coats and husband James Coats, brother's Jack Gasho, Aaron Loughrige, Nicholas Loughrige, sister's Melissa Gasho, Jennifer Lynn Loughrige Miller, Kristina King Loughrige, KateLynn Coats, his maternal Grandma Mary Robinson, his Aunt Johanna and Uncle Brian Shepherd, cousin's, Steven (Julie), Michael, Patrick, Daniel, Addisyn Shepherd, and Thomas Brewster.
