Joseph Rice Campbell

Joseph Rice Campbell, 75, passed away after an illness on December 4, 2018, in Prescott, Arizona. Joseph was born December 10, 1942, in Phoenix, Arizona to Ruby Eloise (Rice) and Albert LeRoy Campbell. He is survived by his wife Gerri A. Evans, his brother Paul Campbell and sister-in-law Marilyn (Katy, Texas), his children Cairn M. Campbell, Kimberly A. Campbell, Jody L. Centrella, Michael J. Campbell, Mary Beth Campbell Beinhauer and son-in-law Robert A. Beinhauer, Jr., and by his grandchildren Gennifer, Elena, Nicholas, Benjamin, and Jane, as well as his nephew, niece, and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and by his stepdaughter Shannon L. Evans. Joseph was an electrical contractor in Arizona, primarily in the metro Phoenix area and surrounding cities, constructing highway lighting, signing, intersections and many other electrical structures. He was a former employee of the City of Scottsdale, worked for several electrical contracting companies and was an owner operator of several businesses of his own. Joseph attended school in Show Low, Arizona, but primarily resided in Phoenix.  He and his wife Gerri later retired to Prescott. Joseph took pride in his long family history in Arizona.  Joseph had a lifelong love for trains small and large and was an avid model railroader.  He was a loyal friend to many, laughed easily, could tell stories for days, and was quick with a joke even in the tough times. Joseph was beloved by his family and friends and was a wonderful husband, brother, father, and grandfather. Words cannot express our deep love for him and sorrow at his passing.  He will be missed by all who knew him.
