Joseph Patrick Castille, born December 25th, 1934, passed away on May 4th, 2011, in Prescott, AZ. Joe was born and raised in Louisiana. He was extremely proud of his Cajun heritage, and he spoke French fluently.
In his younger years he was a competitive boxer. At the age of 17, Joe enlisted in the Air Force and traveled the world. He and Bobbie were married in 1954. They lived in Torrance, CA. for over 30 years and raised their daughters there. Joe was a long-time member of the Masonic and Elks lodges. He was a structural welder and the successful owner of Acadian Welding; that helped him be a good provider for his family. Joe loved to bowl and as an accomplished bowler he spent many years at the lanes. Joe and Bobbi moved to Mesa, AZ, in 1992 and upon retirement 10 years later moved to Prescott.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara (Bobbie); daughters, Deborah Wang, Michele Riley and Daniele Pettit; grandchildren; Vanessa, Ashley, Garrett, Amanda and Jeffrey; great grandchildren; Parker, Madison and Jordyn. His sister JoAnn and brothers; Jerrell and Karl, also survive Joe. A celebration of Joe's life will be held at a later date.
