Jordan Anthony Shandley

Jordan Shandley was a Prescott Valley native. He was born in Prescott on November 25th 1983 and is survived by his family and many, many friends who will all miss him. Jordan passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 13th. It is important for his family and friends to let others know that drugs can affect all of us and we will not let Jordan?s life be in vain. If you or someone you know is addicted, please get help. Jordan will be remembered for making friends with everyone, for his huge, quirky sense of humor, and for his love of knowledge and music. Jordan served in the U.S. Army for 4 years. In that time one of his responsibilities was the maintenance of the Patriot missile. After leaving the Army, Jordan lived in Mesa, Arizona and worked as a sound-technician and bouncer at the Tempe Improv. He had recently made plans to live in Costa Rica and become a photojournalist. Jordan was an extremely intelligent person who loved long, meaningful conversations. As a friend of his said,? Jordan was extreme in his passions whether it was books or music. Whatever it was, it had to have integrity and genuine character. To honor Jordan?s memory and to give meaning to his life we would like to suggest the following website: http://www.drugfreeworld.org . Jordan?s life was too short and he had so much to live for. Please don?t let someone you know go down the same road. Please visit the website to learn how to help a loved one or yourself.
