Jonathan Warren Baldwin made an early entrance into the world at 26 weeks weighing 2 pounds 6 ounces in Detroit where he made friends with all the nurses in the neonatal ICU for three months. As he grew into the big lovable man he became he made lots more friends and left his mark all across the United States. He graduated from Poly High School in Riverside, California where he was the captain of the badminton team and founded the emergency preparedness club. He went on to serve two stints in the AmeriCorps in South Carolina and St. Louis and attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. He worked as a top-secret security agent for Lockheed-Martin in northern Virginia before moving to Arizona to be closer to his family. In Arizona, he was active in the Society for Creative Anachronisms as Ginvilas. He touched many people through his smiles and his famous hugs. Among his favorite roles was that of "Uncle Jonathan." Besides his many friends, he is survived by his mother and step-father Judi and Gary Baldwin, his father John Whitehouse, sister and brother-in-law Jennifer and Ryan Hall, grandparents Warren and Anita Bober, and brothers- and sisters-in-law James, David, and Gina Whitehouse, David Baldwin and Angela Wainscott, and nieces and nephews Sophia, Warren and Beatrice Hall.
