Jon William Coleman, 50, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in Prescott, Arizona. Born on a summer day in Riverside, California on Monday, June 19, 1963, Jon was the son of Louise Lillian Sebo and Max William Coleman. Jon was a generous, patient and very kind man who valued honesty and hard work. Jon is survived by his beloved wife Linda Coleman; son Brad Thomas; father William Max Coleman (Paula Regina); sister Julie Hirai (Tom); brothers Jimmy and Joey Ganzer; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jon was preceded in death by his mother Louise Lillian Coleman. After graduating from Montclair High School in California, 1981, Jon worked in Pomona at General Dynamics as a machinist for three years. In 1992 he moved to Prescott, Arizona, and found a career with Sturm, Ruger & Company Inc. He dedicated himself to them for over 20 years beginning as a machinist and promoted to various other positions including machine programmer and QC auditor. Recently, he accepted a new promotion to CAD Assistant in the engineering department. While working for Ruger, Jon met Linda and soon asked her and her son Brad, out on a date. They were married on May 4, 1997 in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a self-proclaimed sports fan, Jon loved to watch baseball and hockey. He regularly attended spring training and baseball games for his favorite baseball team the Arizona Diamondbacks. Jon was an avid adventurer loving everything Jeep and outdoor related. His hobbies included traveling, camping, fishing, kayaking, trains and politics. Jon especially treasured his memories of traveling with Linda and Brad all over the southwest to various national parks and old ghost towns. Jon made friends with everyone he met and never regretted doing anything. He truly lived his life to the fullest. Jon will never be forgotten.
