Johnny A. Lopez II, 62 of Paulden, Arizona, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007. Mr. Lopez was born, July 6, 1944 in Kingman, AZ. He was a 1963 graduate of Mohave Union High School and lived in Arizona all his life. He was self employed the past five years since his retirement with Peter Kiewit & Sons, where he was employed for 24 years as a maintenance superintendent. In the past years Mr. Lopez had been employed in Kingman at the Duval Mine. Mr. Lopez also served in the U.S. Army after graduating from high school. Mr. Lopez is preceded in death by his loving grandfather, Sotero Espinozo, his parents, Juan and Maria Lopez and four brothers; Antonio, Raymond, Manuel and Richard Lopez. Mr. Lopez is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Connie Lopez; his three sons; Johnny, III, Robert and Michael and his wife Katja. Mr. Lopez was blessed with three grandchildren, Johnny IIII, Sophia and Sabrina; one sister; Cathy Duran and husband, Ruben; a brother; Jose Lopez and wife Sylvia;. his sister-in-law, Lupe Lopez; eight nephews; Jimmy and Duane Sumner, Ruben Duran, Richard Lopez all of Kingman, Manuel and Tony Lopez of Phoenix, Eric Lopez of Holly wood, CA and Brian Lopez of Killeen, Texas; five nieces; Brenda Davis, Teresa Ely, Natisha Lopez of Kingman, Christina Lopez of Phoenix and Joely Lopez of Killeen , Texas. He is survived by sixteen great nieces and nephews; and. many cousins.
