John William (Bill) Brink

John William (Bill) Brink

John William (Bill) Brink (b January 14, 1929, d April 7, 2014), son of Myron Edgar Brink and Maude Elizabeth Rice Brink, was born in Cebu, Philippine Islands. He was a civilian prisoner of war, with his family, in Japanese POW camps in the Philippines during World War II. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Japan during the Korean War. He received his bachelors and masters degrees from Whittier College, taught elementary and junior college in Whittier and Blythe, California. He was a licensed pilot. He moved to Prescott in 1993 where he was a docent at Sharlot Hall, the Smoki Museum and the nature center. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the NRA.
