John R. Collins

John R. Collins, 79, of Prescott Valley, AZ passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. He was born in Peterborough, NH to Oliver and Leona (Cunningham) Collins of Dublin, NH.

John was a heavy equipment operator for many years. He enjoyed being able to work outside every day in beautiful Northern Arizona. John also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a passionate NASCAR enthusiast!

John is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Pat (nee Kiniry); his children Julieann (Ray) Chabot of Keene, NH, John R. (Lynn) Collins, Jr. of Winchester, NH, Jodi Lynn Collins of Prescott, AZ; grandsons John Arthur, Raymond, Adam, Nick and Joe; great-granddaughters Emma and Ava; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father Oliver, mother Leona Pollard, step-father Frank Pollard, brother, Frank Jr., and sister, Ruth Wilson.

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John’s name to Diabetes Research or a charity of your choice to honor John.
