John Henry Getzin

John Henry Getzin, age 88 originally of Oak Creek, WI passed away in Sun City on December 16, 2017.  He was proceeded in death by Ann, his wife of 65 years.  John and Ann moved to Prescott in 1985 after 30 years of service on the Oak Creek fire department. He also served in the U.S. Navy from 1948 - 1952. He is survived by their 6 children, Mary Beth Burger (Harry), Michelle Johanneck (Roger), Joe Getzin (Andrea), Ami Hahnl (Tom), John Getzin, Leann Pezdirtz (Marc), 9 grandchildren Brenton, Luke, Erika, Devin, Thomas, Patrick, Sara, Erin, Anna and 5 great-grandchildren.  No services are planned and the family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.
