John Christopher Ruether

John Christopher Ruether of Prescott, Arizona passed away on October 27, 2022.

John was born on June 5, 1964 to Robert and Connie Ruether in Inglewood, California. His family moved to Prairie Village, Kansas where he attended St. Ann Catholic School. John went on to attend Bishop Miege and Shawnee Mission East High School’s. John was an excellent athlete excelling in football, wrestling and baseball. Golf was his passion through out his life. John was a gamer, who loved to win!

After graduating from Emporia State University, John built an extremely successful business, Power IT. John married the love of his life and best friend, Lee on September 21, 1990. They shared many happy memories of travel and family events when their children were small.

John’s pride and joy was his daughter, Jentry who shares his drive and tenacity.

John is survived by his wife Lee and daughter Jentry. Brothers, Rich, Pat and Tom. John is also survived by his Kappa Sigma brother’s and an enormous amount of friends and family.

John was preceded in death by his parent’s, Bob and Connie Ruether, beloved brother Mike and son Jake.
