Joe (Jose) Alvarado Zavala

Joe was my soulmate and partner through life. He leaves behind a wife Christine Zavala who loved him with all her heart and soul. He raised 3 step-sons Rick, Robert and Jonathan Burgard. He also left behind his Mom Teresa Zavala, and his sisters Martha Zavala, Connie Sopko (in Heaven), and brother Juan Zavala. Joe is also a proud grandfather of Hailey and Christopher Burgard, Dakota and Jesse Burgard, Austin Burgard and Coree and Kody Johnson. Joe was well loved by his nephew's Benny Zavala, Mike Sopko, Jody Sopko along with great-niece and nephews who were like his children, Serenity Sopko, Wyatt and Garrett Sopko. Joe loved Indy Racing, Football, Boxing, Fishing and Wrestling which he cherished the memories with his Mom, Dad, Brother, and nephews. He did construction for many years which led to his disabilities. The best thing he ever did in life was touching those children around him. Whoever really knew Joe knew how much he loved them. His famous line was, 'I love you to the Moon and back.' He would give you his last dollar and then some. Joe only wanted to see everyone happy and together. We will truly miss you my Honey. Until we meet again my love is with you. All Our Love God saw you getting tired A Relief was not to be, So he put his arms around you And Whispered, 'Come with Me.' With tearful eyes we watched you And saw you fade away. Although we loved you dearly We could not make you stay. A Golden Heart stopped beating Your tender hands at rest. God took you home to prove to us He only takes the best.
