She would spend hours reading her bible.  In 1983 she, along with her husband and son Robert made a trip to Israel and they were baptisted in the Jordan river.
In 1969 she met the love of her life, Robert, they were married for 28 years until his passing in 2002
She loved doing research on her family genealogy, taking extensive trips to photograph, copy documents and talk to people about our family history.
She was a proud member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Daghters of the Confederacy and National Society of Magna Carter Dames
She liked sewing, painting and writing, she was very talented individual. 
Most of all she was proud of her eight children, her grandkids and her great grandkids.
