Joan Marie Roulier

Joan M. Roulier (O?Leary) 62, Prescott, AZ., passed away on March 24, 2010, after a nine year battle with ovarian cancer.  Joan was born in Anaconda, Montana and moved to Arizona at the age of nine.  She graduated from Central High School, Phoenix College and ASU where she earned her B.A  in French and her master's in Education.  She was a high school French teacher at Sunnyslope High School for 28 years until 1999.  She then moved to Prescott with her husband Jack and taught for eight additional years at Prescott High School where she retired in 2008.  Joan is survived by her husband Jack, her two children Brent and Brooke (Bryant) Schaper and her sisters Jean Tracey  and Marilyn Brettin. She was an inspiration and will be missed by all of her family, friends and former students.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
