Joan Elaine Spickelmier

Joan died Thursday, May 24, 2012 in Prescott Valley, Arizona. She was born December 4, 1933 in McIntosh, South Dakota; the daughter of John and Matilda Beier. Joan was 78 years old. Her passion was her family and was especially proud of her children. Joan's love was being outside just sitting and enjoying nature at its best or working around the yard. She was a member of the Elks Lodge and Job's Daughters. Joan is survived by her children; Jon & Cindee Spickelmier of Wilsonville, OR, Jody & Dave Brown of Milwaukie, OR, Jayne & Behzod Mokhtari of Prescott Valley, AZ, Jill Bromel of Tillamook, OR, grandchildren; Eamon, Shahin, Ramin, Justin, Bethany, Mark, Nick, Jennifer, Mike, Adam, Jeffery, Elizabeth, great-grandchildren; Aiden, Kayee, Zachary, Logan, Haley, and brother-in-law Howard. She is preceded in death by her sister Genevieve.
