Charles ?Jim? Dennison, 72, died February 22, 2006 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. Jim was born September 29, 1933 in Centerburg, Ohio; the son of Raymond W. and Mary M. (Jones) Dennison. After completing high school Jim served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged in June of 1956. Jim met and later married the love of his life, Beverly Barker in Ft. Wayne, IN on July 13, 1957 and shared 48 loving years together. He was a member of Prescott United Methodist Church, Prescott Noon Lions Club and Earnest Love Post #6 American Legion in Prescott. Jim was proud of his home and family whom he dearly loved. Jim was a passionate traveler and enjoyed his many motorcycle adventures. He liked visiting historic sites and enjoyed reading American history. Jim enjoyed sports especially NCAA basketball. Jim is survived by his loving and caring wife Beverly of Prescott Valley, his daughter Shauna L. Weltmann and her husband Gary of Bend, OR and his son Quinn J. Dennison and his wife Debbie of York, PA. Jim is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law; Rick and Libby Dennison of Columbia City, IN and his sister and brother-in-law; Eleanor and Kenneth Hamilton of Sun City West, AZ. Four grandchildren; April, Eric, Kyle and Holly. A celebration of Jim?s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2006 at Prescott United Methodist Church, 505 West Gurley St., Prescott with full military honors. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Prescott National Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts to the Prescott United Methodist Church-building fund or the charity of your choice.
