Jerry B. Wetzel

Jerry B Wetzel, 69, of Chino Valley, AZ and formerly of Grand Rapids, Spring Lake and Norton Shores, MI passed away peacefully November 12, 2013 from pancreatic cancer. Jerry was the son of Walter and Eileen Wetzel, who predeceased him. Jerry lived and worked in West Michigan, graduated from Ottawa Hills High School, class of ‘62 and received his BA at Ferris State University. His interests included golfing, biking and all college sports. He enjoyed attending the NCAA tournaments with his son and also enjoyed visiting the casinos in Michigan and Arizona. He loved the great lakes and the Grand Canyon. Jerry is survived by his wife Rebecca and his golden retriever Maddie; children Steven Wetzel, Jodi (Steve) Wetzel Perini; Kellie (Rick) Cook, and Brian (Rachel) McIntyre; sister Carol (Gary) Zdun; sister in law Amy (Philip) Buck-Brown; Aunts Ada Wetzel and JoAnn Wetzel; niece Kim (Peter) Piatek; nephew Thomas (Stephanie) Zdun and 13 grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Aranda; Dr. Nica; MD Anderson, Phoenix, AZ; Granite Mountain home health care; Yavapai Regional Medical Center, West Campus, Prescott; Good Samaritan Rehabilitation; New Horizons and Good Samaritan Hospice for providing excellent care. We love you Jerry and will miss you, thank you for sharing your life with us. God bless.
