Jerald "Jerry" Gooch

The family of Jerald (Jerry) Gooch invite you to Celebrate his Life with us. Born in 1941 in Purdin, Missouri to Earl & Bernice Gooch. He graduated High School in Fulton Illinois in 1959; married the love of his life Carol (Reed) in 1962. They moved to Phoenix in 1970 where he joined the Phoenix Fire Department as a Fire Fighter, took college Fire Science courses, & where he worked for 27 years. They retired in Prescott Valley where they built their home. He leaves behind his Wife Carol of 55 years; his Daughter Lori (John Winfield); his Son Larry; and his Grandchildren Austen; Jordyn & Jenna. He follows his Sister Helen and Brother Gary to heaven, survived by his Sister Celia. He will always be remembered as a loving Husband, Dad and Poppy. He loved his family dearly and was our “rock” and our “provider”. He always helped guide us through our lives and will live in our hearts the rest of our days.
