Jenny Leona Murphey

On September 23, 2020 Jenny Leona (Nora) Murphey gained her wings. During her final days she was surrounded by family and the Lord’s grace.
 She was born on October 14, 1936 in Williams, AZ. In 1954, Nora met and married her late husband James Murphey. They were married for 57 years before Jim’s death in 2011. During their long marriage Nora became a mother to 3 children, Jackie, Burt, and Wanda. As time went by, she also became a grandmother. At the time of her passing she had 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Nora was able to build a second family through her local church community. Over the years she became close with many of the parishioner's at Word of Life Assembly Church in Chino Valley. This is a bond that never wavered over the years. Alongside her husband she was preceded in death by four siblings, Walter,  Dave, Richard, Bill, and Ruth Dotson.
