Jean V. LeFort, 90, of Prescott, Arizona, formerly of Long Beach, California, passed into the light at 5:15 a.m. on Sunday, April 9, 2017 in Prescott, Arizona. Jean was born in Willowbrook, California on April 25, 1926. She lived a full and extraordinary life. Predeceased by husband of forty-four years, Joseph R. LeFort and her son, Kenneth E. LeFort (Connie), she is survived by her son, Lawrence W. LeFort, Banning, CA; daughters Kris Griffin (Gary), Recovery, GA; Jeannie Thomas (Tom), Prescott, AZ; brother Mike Archie (Linda), Lakewood, CA; Grandson Andy LeFort (Karen) Las Vegas, NV; Granddaughter Tavai Thomas (Jo Rodas) Adelaide, AU, adopted Granddaughter Afrodite Pastroumas, Seattle, WA; and two Great -Grandchildren, Violet and Korben LeFort of Las Vegas, NV. Jean is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her grand-dogs and great grand-dog whom she considered part of her loving family. A woman of many interests and talents, Jean, loved nature and gardening, music, dance, and poetry. She was an avid reader, reading several books a week until almost the very end. Her keen wit and grand sense of humor will be missed. Jean was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Pines for all their assistance and care.
