James "Jim" A. Walter

Jim Walter died Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Prescott, Arizona.  He was born March 14, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA., the only son of James A. Walter Sr. and Frances (Metsger) Walter.  Jim was 84 years old.
He served in the United States Navy (air) during the Korean War and later as a police officer with the Inglewood Police Department in Inglewood, California.  Jim and Diane were married on October 5, 1979.  After Jim retired in 1987 from the police department, he and Diane moved to Prescott, Arizona.  Jim was proud to have served his country and his time with the Inglewood Police Department.
Jim is survived by his wife Diane, his son Robert and his wife, and several grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his daughter Kathy. 
There will be no services for Jim.
