James Anthony Quinlan

James Anthony Quinlan died March 26, 2009 at his home in Prescott, AZ. He was born in Medford, Massachusetts on May 11, 1942, the son of James and Mildred Quinlan. James was 66 years old. James was a true son of Boston; he was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Celtics. He had a love for trolleys and trains and for dining with friends and family. A Social Worker, James was a life long advocate for those in need and was a very active member of Sacred Heart Parish. James considered his many friends at the church his family and his greatest love was the church community. James died with Father Daryl holding his hand and with Sister Anne at his side. He would have considered himself to indeed be blessed that they were present at his passing. James is survived by his twin sister Mimi Quinlan of Massachusetts; nephew Peter Maher and nieces Mary Beth Hubauer and Michele Maher; grand-nephews Shawn Patrick, Matthew and Luke and grand-niece Katherine. He was a wonderful uncle and a good friend who will be missed by many.
