Jacque went to be with her Lord and Savior on Jan. 25, 2016. She was born in Anderson, Indiana on May 23, 1931 to Howard and Pauline Witt. Jacque was 84 years old.
Jacque came to Prescott in 1965 where she went to work for Dr. Shriver's war on poverty. As a founding member of the Prescott chapter of Parents Without Partners, Jacque was serving as acting president in 1966. In 1970, she married Jack Osmer becoming his partner in the House of Bronze foundry and began the House of Bronze Fine Art Gallery. Those were the early days for cable television in Prescott and she was asked to host a program called Prescott and the Fine Arts on the local channel. In 1974, Jacque co-founded the George Phippen Memorial Day Art Show and then some years later the Prescott Art Trust.
Jacque is survived by her husband Jack Osmer; her daughters Lynda Rooke, Nancy Sheaffer; and son Richard Pierce. Her seven grandchildren are Robert Sult, Samantha Sult, Ron Sult, Bobby Rooke, Alan Shaeffer and Michael Sheaffer. Her four great-grandchildren are Brian and Jennifer Sult, Katie Shaeffer and Weston Rooke. Her niece is Jeani Witt Wahl.
