Jack Dooley Jones, 80, of Prescott, son of Dooley and Ferne (Kapp) Jones passed away April 23. He was born August 20, 1933 in Yuma and moved to Prescott in 1947 where he learned to be a cow puncher. He served in Korea from 1953 to 1955 and studied Engineering at Arizona State Teachers College (ASU). He loved ranch life, working cattle and ranch cooking. He worked many ranches in Arizona predominantly the Boquillas Cattle Company and the ORO Ranch. He is survived by his daughters, Marcie Jones-Holthus (David), Dana Edgar, and Krista Robertson, four grandchildren, one great granddaughter and his sister Betty (Jones) Bartmus.
