Ivan Bruce Sanford

Ivan Bruce Sanford was born to Bruce and Maxine (Himes) Sanford on September 22, 1941. He passed away on January 28, 2011. After finishing high school Ivan joined the United States Marines and served his country during the Cold War era of the early 1960\'s. He married the love of his life, Jeneane (Dayhuff) Sanford on June 30, 1961 and is the father of four sons and one daughter.
After working for General Motors Ivan moved his family to Arizona in the early 1970\'s to give his family a healthier envinronement. Ivan worked as a supervisor for Fry\'s Food Stores before moving back to Cedar Rapids Iowa to work for Wayerhouser until he retired.
Ivan is preceeded in death by his parents Bruce and Maxine Sanford, his sister Margaret Zubke, and two grandsons, David Sanford and Christopher Best.

Ivan is survived by his wife of 49 years Jeneane Sanford, his sons David (Morgena) Sanford of Glendale, AZ. - Daniel (Penny) Sanford of Marion, Iowa - Dwayne (Lisa) Sanford of Glendale, AZ - Dustin (Christi) of Minot,ND - and Dawn (Douglas) Best of Prescott Valley, Az. Ivan is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
