Ina E. Filas

Ina E. Filas died August 8, 2015 at the age of 90. She was born January 16, 1925 in Sykeston, ND to Silas & Deane (Holt) Rasmussen.

Ina was a member of the Consecrated Widows of SOLT, St. Germaine's Catholic Church in Prescott Valley, and the World Apostolate of Fatima. She was extremely involved with her faith in the Catholic Church. She loved and cherished her family, her friendships, and music.

Ina is survived by her daughters Cecilia Filas of Naperville, IL, Theresa Foppe of Chadron, NE, Rita (John) Cerajewski of Steger, IL, and Loretta (Brian) Schmid of Avon, IN; son John (Sue) Filas of Hebron, IN; brother Vernon Rasmussen of Calumet City, IL; sisters Arlene (Herb) Waldron of Hammond, IN and Marjorie Estrada of Gary, IN; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years Frank Filas, Sr and her son Frank Filas, Jr.
