Herbert Fred Simmons

Herbert Fred Simmons died on November 7, 2008 at the Carl Hayden VAMC in Phoenix, Arizona. He was 71 years old. Herbert was born November 21, 1936 in Hebron, Nebraska to Arnold and Jeanette (Philippi) Dunse. Herbert served his Country proudly in the United States Navy and later as a Personal Banker. His wife Katheryn has preceded him in death. They were married October 2, 1962. Herbert was a resident of Arizona for the past 25 years and previously resided in Missouri. He was a fourth degree Fraternal Member of the Knights of Columbus. Herbert enjoyed fishing and gardening and was proudest of his hand made fishing flies and flowers that he had grown. Herbert is survived by Brothers- Gil (Barbara) Simmons of Surprise, AZ; Steve (Sherry) Dunne of Mesa, Az; Arnold (Pat)Dunse Jr. of New Rose, IN; Many nieces and Nephews and friend Robert Fisackerly.
