Helene Von Trotha Plate

Helene von Trotha Plate nee Swallow, widow of Lawrence Lathrop Plate, Sr. passed away in her sleep on January 30th, 2011 in Prescott, Arizona. Helene was born in Bishop, California on April 27th, 1910, daughter of former State of Nevada Attorney General, Albert Heaton Swallow and a Colorado pioneer, Esther Daisy Thekla von Trotha. She is survived by a son, Laurence Lathrop Plate, Jr., two grandsons, Thaddeus Walden Plate and Mathew Claude Plate and two great-grandchildren, Makayla Elisabeth Plate and David Alexander Plate. She will join with her late husband in Sedona Cemetery on his 105th birthday (April 3).
