Harry Curley, 74, of Bagdad, AZ, passed away on August 13th, 2023, in Phoenix, AZ, with his family and friends by his side. He was born in Winslow, AZ on August 25, 1948.
Harry is of the Butterfly Salt Clan born for the Tangle People Clan. His maternal clan is Salt Clan and paternal clan is Red Streak on Forehead Clan.
He grew up in Seligman, AZ with his parents Dick and Thelma, where they worked, lived, and raised their children. Harry attended Seligman schools and graduated in 1967. He participated in sports including football, basketball, baseball, and track-and-field. After graduation he attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff and Arizona Western College in Yuma where he earned his associate degree. He continued his education at the University of Arizona in Tucson to earn his bachelor's degree.
He has worked in many different fields in his life including; The Office of Research and Development in Tucson, Yavapai County Sheriff's Office in Seligman, Burlington Northern Santa Fe in Winslow, as an EMT for the Bagdad Volunteer Fire Department, and at the mill in the Metallurgical Department as a Senior Lab Technician for 46 years in Bagdad.
His favorite hobbies included; pitching softball, playing basketball, golfing, bowling, umpiring, hunting, camping, off-roading, fishing, coaching all sports including football, drumming for the bands "Nite Life" and "Cowboys and Indians" and most of all spending time with his Bagdad family and friends.
He is loved and will be greatly missed by all, extra hugs and kisses from his wife, son, and daughter. He is preceded in death by his father Dick and mother Thelma Curley of Birdsprings. Harry is survived by his beloved wife Michele Rodriguez Curley, son Cameron Page Curley, and daughter Priscilla Winslow Curley, brothers Larry (Cindy) Curley, Perry (Joanne) Curley, Jerry (Charlotte) Curley, and Terry (Jennie DeGroat) Curley, along with many nieces and nephews.
