Glen Henry Schwab

Glen died Sunday, December 29, 2013 at the Northern Arizona V.A. Medical Center in Prescott, Arizona. He was born October 9, 1927 in LaCrosse, Kansas; the son of Henry and Helen (Black) Schwab. Glen was 86 years old. Glen served in the United States Navy (he joined when he was only 15 years old). He married the love of his life, Rita Denning, on July 7, 1949, they had four children. Glen was an auto mechanic and had his own business. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working in his garden, and helping others. Glen was a member of the Sea Bees and the VFW. He was very proud of being a Sea Bees but it was his family that meant the most to him. Glen had a saying, “If they can build it, I can fix it”. He is survived by his loving wife, Rita; children Georgia Schwab of Colorado, Glenna (Ron) Bowen of California, Sherry (Bill) Holman of Arizona, Steve Schwab of Arizona; grandchildren Paula, Angie, Mike, Journey, Chris, and Connor; great-grandchildren Kody, Kalyn, Kendra, Ryan, Abby, Kelcy, Brandon, Chloe, and Hope.
