Gertrude Evelyn Hesse

Gertrude Evelyn Hesse, 94, of Prescott Valley, Arizona passed away on September 21, 2012. She was born on May 13, 1918 in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Gertrude was preceded in death by two children, Richard (wife Francine) Hesse, Frances (husband Robert) Larkin; her sister Dorothy (husband Howard, also deceased) Laubach; grandchildren, Tracy Elizabeth. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Hesse; grandchildren, Anastasia, Geoffrey, Kristin; great-grandchildren, Megan and Colleen. Gertrude attended St. Germaine Catholic Church. She was a member of the Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima and a lifetime member of the Auxiliary VFW Post 10227. Gertrude enjoyed playing the piano, writing short stories and spending time with her family. If asked what she was proudest of, Gertrude would say her children. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Germaine Catholic Church, 7997 Dana Drive Prescott Valley, AZ, on Thursday October 4, 2012 at 10:30 AM.
