Geraldine M. Svec Kartje

Geraldine died peacefully in her sleep on Sept. 14, 2012. She was born on February 9, 1931 in Illinois as Geraldine Marie Svec, affectionately referred to as Gerry. Gerry was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Raymond Christopher Kartje; her parents, two sisters and brother. Gerry is survived by her five children; daughters, Catherine, Maryann and Laura, her two son’s Cameron and Keith, with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren all living in Arizona. Gerry’s sister Glades Cetwinski resides in Minnesota. With a young family, Geraldine and Ray moved to Arizona. Ray worked at Bashes and Gerry for Motorola, after Gerry retired from Motorola and Ray from Bashes. They toured the U.S for many years and settled down in Orchard Ranch, Prescott Valley. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wakelin Family Funeral Homes for a private Cremation.
