Gerald Patrick 'Pat' Moore

Pat Moore passed away on August 25, 2011. He was born on St. Patricks Day, 1935, and has always gone by his middle name. Pat was born in New York City, New York and moved as a boy to Tucson, where his three children were later born. He brought the family to San Diego in 1964 and lived in Southern California until 2006 when he and wife Patti returned to his beloved Arizona. Pat loved Prescott! He loved dressing in western attire, loved sitting on the deck of his home communing with God and nature (and a good cigar!). He was an active member of the Sunrise Lions Club until his illness made it too difficult to attend. Becoming Sheriff of the Prescott Corral of Westerners International was one of his proudest moments.Pat is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Patti; three children, Gary, Jeff and Kimmy; and seven amazing grandchildren: Cameron, Breanna, Sarah, Michael, Ryan, Anastasia and Acacia. His former daughter-in-law, Dena Moore and former sister-in-law Debbi Mercado were a big part of his and Pattis life and provided much love and support through the years. Pat was a charismatic, gun-toting, intellectual conservative with an unyielding attitude on free market economics. But he will be remembered most for his positive spirit and will be greatly missed by his many friends and his family.
