Gerald Kenneth Stitt

Gerald Kenneth Stitt passed away on April 15, 2008 at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona at the age of 77. Jerry was born December 8, 1930 in New Castle Pennsylvania to Charles & Georgia Stitt. He joined the Navy in 1948 at the age of 17. Jerry served in the Korean & Vietnam Wars and on many Naval ships including the USS Enterprise where he was part of the commisioning crew. He retired in 1978.  Gerald married sweetheart Clara Stitt on April 11, 1953 they shared 55 years of love, laughter and memories. Jerry lived in Yavapai County for 15 1/2 years and previously in California. Gerald was a proud member of the Bethal Baptist Church and the Fleet Reserve. Jerry enjoyed traveling throughout his life and seeing new places. But nothing in his life compared to the love that he had for his family and how proud he was of each and every one of them. Great-Grandchildren- Savannah, Sydney, and Tristan.
