Gerald Fite

Jerry was born September 8, 1946 in Hartshorne, OK and passed away September 9, 2024 in Prescott, AZ. He graduated from LaPorte High School and attended Southwest Texas University. Jerry was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Central Highlands of Vietnam as a 4th Infantry (mortars) soldier. He worked in Maracaibo, Venezuela at a startup oil refinery and on the Alaska Pipeline at the Prudo Bay startup facility. Afterwards, he was a commercial Fence Estimator for 33 years. One of his passions in life was riding motorcycles through the mountains, where he said he felt close to God.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sandra Deeter Fite of Prescott, AZ; daughter, Somer Fite of Prescott, AZ; son, Dustin Fite and wife Stasia of Maricopa, AZ. Grandchildren, Savanna Valdez Sperry and husband, Brian of Prescott Valley, AZ; Jace Koester of Eugene, OR; Jett Koester of Prescott, AZ, Cydney Fite of Florala, AL and Bella Fite of Maricopa, AZ; Great-Grandchildren, Shadow Sperry, Jaevyn and Jett Koester, Jr. Brothers, Randy Fite of Richards, TX; Rick Clunn and wife Melissa of Ada, MO; Monty Clunn of Macon, MO; Sister, Linda Clunn Voelzel and husband Gus of Austin, TX. As well as many friends and relatives.

He is preceded in death by his son, Coby S. Fite; mother, Juanita Clunn Fite; father, H.E. Fite and stepmother, Marcella Leek Fite.
