George Frederick

George Renee Frederick, Jr. was born on May 19, 1969 in San Luis Obispo, California, the only child of George Renee Frederick and Karen Rae Stauffacher. He passed away in Bagdad, Arizona on August 27, 2012. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, George graduated with a degree in History from UCSD and later went on to pursue a career in mining. George grew up in Pismo Beach and loved surfing. He had a passion for music that he shared with everyone around him; he was particularly fond of rockabilly. George was preceded in death by his father George Frederick, and is survived by his 8-year-old twin girls Ella Grace and Rebecca Joy Frederick who will miss him terribly, his mother Karen Rae Stauffacher, his sisters Dawn Millar and Kari Vener, 16 beautiful nieces and nephews, and an extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends he considered family. While George’s movie-star smile lit up every room he was ever in, he will mostly be remembered by the way he loved. Family and friends of George knew that love well. No one hugged like George! He will be missed terribly, but those who love him know they will see him again, in heaven, finally playing his guitar the way he always wanted to. A Memorial Service celebrating his life was held on September 29th, 2012.
