George F. Baldwin

George was born in Findley, IL. He passed into heaven October 1, 2011 in Prescott, AZ. George retires from the United States Air Force, as a flight engineer, he was stationed all over the world and served two tours in Vietnam. He earned the Distinguished Flying Cross, the air metal with five oar leaf clusters, and over 2000 combat flying hours, unit citation award, and many other metals. Upon retiring, George and his son Terry ran an A/C heating company for many years in Illinois, moving to Arizona in 1989. George was the maintenance foreman at Youngs Farm for a number of years, retiring in 2001. He was a devout Christian and Deacon at Pentecostal Church of God in Prescott Valley. His wife of 48 years preceded him in death, he is survived by sons and their families, Terry Baldwin of Prescott Valley, David and Joann Baldwin of Portage, IN, Tim and Rita Baldwin, and their children his grandchildren, John and Holly Baldwin of Booty IL.

Service:
Visitation will be Friday, October 7, 2011 from 10-11am with service beginning at 11am at the Mile High Worship Center, 7605 E Long look, Prescott Valley, AZ. Graveside with full military honors will be at 1:30pm at Heritage Memory Gardens, Dewey, AZ.
